Yes. Static QR codes are free forever — unlimited, and they never expire or deactivate. Every new account also starts with a 7-day free trial of all features, and the free plan keeps 1 dynamic QR after that. Paid plans add more dynamic codes, analytics and features.
How does the 7-day free trial work?+
When you sign up, all features unlock for 7 days so the product genuinely feels like yours. Dynamic QR codes you create during the trial work for 10 scans each — enough to print one, scan it, and watch the analytics roll in. After 7 days, those trial dynamic codes pause (they show a branded upgrade page, never a dead link) unless you upgrade. Static QR codes are never part of the trial — they're free and permanent from day one.
What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?+
A static code has the link baked in permanently — it can never be edited but also never dies. A dynamic code points to a short QRYZEN address, so you can change its destination anytime — even after printing — and track every scan.
Do QRYZEN QR codes expire?+
Static codes never expire — they work forever, even if you delete your account. Dynamic codes stay active with your plan. The only time-limited codes are dynamic ones made during the 7-day free trial: they run for 10 scans and then pause. In every case a paused or expired code shows a polite branded page rather than breaking — and springs back the moment you upgrade or renew.
Can I add my logo and brand colors to the QR code?+
Yes — upload a logo into the centre of your code, choose the pattern and corner styles, and set the code, accent and background colors to match your brand.
What is a digital visiting card (vCard QR)?+
